READING ROOM LAMP Non- Member Price : $650.00 Member Price : $585.00 This Reading Room Lamp is an adaptation of those originally designed for the Library by Carrère and Hastings, the architects of the Library's landmark building at Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street, for its magnificent reading room. The Reading Room Lamp is 28½ inches tall overall, with the maximum diameter of the shade 15¼ inches and the base 7¾ inches. The lamp takes two 60-watt or smaller bulbs. Individual pull-chains provide two lighting levels; for brighter illumination, compact fluorescent bulbs can be used.
