READING ROOM LAMP Non- Member Price : $375.00 Member Price : $337.50 This Reading Room Lamp is an adaptation of those originally designed for the Library by Carrère and Hastings, the architects of the Library's landmark building on 42nd Street and Fifth Avenue, for its magnificent reading room. The Reading Room Lamp is 28½ inches tall overall, with the maximum diameter of the shade 15¼ inches and the base 7¾ inches in diameter. It takes two 60-watt or smaller bulbs, which have individual pull-chains for two light levels; for brighter light compact fluorescent bulbs can be used.
